                              MULTIMODAL PROJECTS

 

1. Multimodal- is a mash-up of multiple and mode. Such as, posters, power points, and presentations. Also multimodal is use to show how we communicate in everyday  life. The five modes of communications are Visual, Liguistic, Aurul, Spatial, Grestural.

1. Mode- is a style of communication and idea and images use throughout a book.

• EXAMPLE: News, projects, and music videos.   

1.  Multimodal Projects- voices and creating visual meaning. 

• EXAMPLES-  advertisments, commercials, and tone and volume.   

Linguistic Mode-  refers to the use of language meaning written of spoken words.                  
EXAMPLE- word choices, spoken or written texts, speeches and paragraph phrases.

1. Visual mode-  is the use of images and characteristics that readers see and visual information and effort to attract our attention.                                  

• Example- images, color, style, size, and layouts.                                 

1. Aurul Mood-  focuses on sound such as speech or video demonstration.

2. Spatial mood:  physical arrangement such as, how a brochure open and the way it lead the reader  through to text.  
   1.                                                                                                EXAMPLE- arrangement, organization
   3. Gestural mood: way of movement and body language.                                                   
      1. 2. EXAMPLES: facial expression, body languages, and  hand gestures.
